Ok my camera works fine in natural light situations but when it comes to using the flash, the pictures always come out really grainy and badly lit. What could I be doing wrong? The flash I use is a Quantaray QB-350A, if that means anything to anyone. It's an attachable flash and one in which the angle can be adjusted and theres this little switch at the botton with 3 squares-one blue, yellow and then a white and I really don't know what they are for but I am wondering if that's got something to do with it. In any case I am sick of my night time pictures coming out so shitty so any advice will be gladly accepted. Thanks!

Re: Flash problem
07/18Are you shooting digitally? Is your camera ISO set to automatic? Some digital cameras will automatically boost to higher ISO when the metering says is dark. Maybe your camera is doing this even though you are using the flash? Can you go into a menu and disable the auto feature?
If you are shooting film, then I don't know what to tell you :(
